BRIAN ALDRICH: Co-Founder Brian Aldrich attended the UCLA Graduate Film School where he received his M.F.A. in Film Production.  Earlier he studied theatre and film at California State University Fullerton (B.A.) where he began to learn his craft under the tutelage of documentary icon Mitchell Bloch, the genius behind Direct Cinema Limited.  Aldrich's seminal work in confessional documentary and reality video: “Confession: A Kerouacian Odyssey” was shown at the New York Museum of Modern Art, the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian Institute in the first national AFI video tour.  He has been commissioned to write several screenplays and his spec scripts have been optioned.  His video and theatre work continues to toy with the subversion of expectations. He is currently in post-production on his experimental feature film "James Dean Died Here" aka "Postmodern Blues."  He began his career working as a personal manager representing actors and writers as well as a production accountant on various films, television shows, and commercials.  He has been a Story Analyst for over 20 years.  He lives in Santa Monica with his beloved wife and assorted rattus norvegicus.

LOUIS MARLOWE: Poe Forward's Poet in Residence Louis Marlowe holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from California Bible College. After this dalliance with religious idealism, his real education came from graduate studies in Berkeley where he earned his M.A. and Ph.D in Philosophy. He reluctantly lives in the heat of Los Angeles where he is happily married and enjoys setting his dog on religious hypocrites. He particularly likes to have his atheist mutt urinate on their tombstones and defecate on their graves.

ALICE PARENT: Executive Director Alice Parent attended UCLA, studying Economics (B.A.) and Public Policy (M.A.). Additionally, she has a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production (M.F.A.) from the UCLA Film School.  She has served as Development Director at various non-profit arts organizations throughout the United States. This is her first position as an Executive Director.  Raised in the Los Angeles South Bay, she lives in Venice, CA.  She hails from Providence, Rhode Island and occasionally spends her summers in Montreal.  She likes to read French poetry.

DAVID DELGADO: Co-Founder David Delgado studied at UCLA and earned a degree in English Literature. Delgado produced the experimental feature film "James Dean Died Here" aka "Postmodern Blues" that is currently in post-production. A political activist and longtime writer and development specialist for various non-profit organizations, he attended and graduated from Loyola Law School. He has recently married, passed the Bar and is currently working as an attorney.
