ABOUT US

CANTILEVERED
Kimberly Nichols
Babies and wine
It’s sun
Down in a bedroom community
And my father throws up
All over the cul de sac
Hot September jacuzzi jets
Prune the nymphs
A card game; a track mark
It’s all interchangeable
In my co-opted head
Skinny dipping; all
My loved ones running
Naked
Scared
America
The Lake Erie dead zone is growing
Polar ice caps are melting
Leader
Ship is burning; a rash is
Spreading
A million
Tiny bumps on my ass and my voice
Shakes
Flip flop-fucking trembles
He hasn’t earned shit
Of my tears
And giggles
Simultaneously, my father
Throws up
In the cul de sac.
Track marks.
