MY GOD

My god’s maturity outweighs his wrath
I don’t think he cares about the small stuff

My god’s not a puritan accountant, factoring sin by sin
I think he’s understands we’re human; sin is part of the engineer’s design

My god’s pride needs no enhancement; he’s the king of self esteem
He doesn’t need us kissing his ass; only primitives bow down to fire

My god’s bigger than your god
He needs us to enjoy the life we’ve been given
