JESSIE MARIE DAVIS – “Mommy’s in the rug.”
If ghosts exist, then the specter of Laci Peterson must be hovering over Canton, Ohio.  Over eight months pregnant and ready to give birth, Jessie Marie Davis, 26, went missing around June 15, 2007.  Her mother, Patricia Porter, last spoke with her on that Wednesday and by Friday, when she hadn’t heard from her devoted daughter in two days, she went to Jessie’s home and found Jessie’s two year old son, Blake, wandering around the ransacked house in filthy diapers repeatedly exclaiming, “Mommy’s in the rug.”  Furniture had been broken, a lamp had been toppled over, and bleach had been spilled on the floor.  While Jessie’s car keys and purse were in the home, her cell phone and a comforter were missing.
The police were informed and the media went into action.  Another beautiful pregnant white mother had gone missing and the media stumbled all over themselves to gain the “breaking news” advantage while continuing to obfuscate the lies and crimes being done daily in Washington D.C.

Bobby Cutts, Jr.

Jessie’s boyfriend, Bobby Lee Cutts Jr., 30, a policeman married to someone else and the father of Blake and probably Jessie’s unborn child, became the chief suspect, but denied any involvement in her death.  Jessie’s mother Patricia Porter told the media she was praying that Bobby, the father of her grandchildren, was not involved.
Perhaps the largest volunteer group ever formed for such a purpose, thousand of Ohio neighbors assisted law enforcement by helping to search for Jessie.
On Sunday the 24th, Cutts provided information to police and authorities found Jessie’s decomposing body in a Cuyahoga Valley National Park thirty miles away in Summit County.  Evidently, Cutts had shared details about the case Saturday with family and a few off duty police officers who were supporting him.
While Cutts continues to maintain his innocence, he, reportedly, claimed to have found Jessie as she lay dying.  After she died, he became afraid of being accused of murder and called a friend, Myisha Lynee Ferrell, 29, to help dispose of the body.
On Monday the 25th, Cutts was charged with two counts of murder and his bond was set at $5 million.  Ferrell faces an obstruction of charge for giving false information to the police and her bond was set at $500,000.
Davis' mother, Patricia Porter, and other family members were in the courtroom.  When Cutts entered, she stood up to face him.  "I wanted him [Cutts] to see me," said Porter.  "I can't really verbalize what was going on in my mind.  I wanted to make sure he knew I was there."
Davis' sister, Whitney, told reporters, "I wanted him to see us for him to know what he has done to our family.  I am disgusted with him."
Grandmother Patricia Porter said Blake has an old cell phone that he uses as a toy and had been "calling" his mother, pretending to talk to her.  Porter said she has tried to explain to the boy that his mother "is in heaven with Jesus."
